From
The East !
Greetings
Brethren,
Fall
is almost upon us, and we now see the upcoming joyous season of harvest
and gathering with our families and we give thanks to our Architect of
the Universe for our manifold blessings and comforts which surround us,
while remembering that charity is the greatest attribute of all, and we
should al-ways remember a worthy Brother.
The Installation of Officers was a fantastic event attended by more
than 110 Brethren, visitors and dignitaries. The Installing Officers,
RW Raymond Dembkoski, and RW Donald Tabbut did a tre-mendous job of
explaining and imparting their various Obligations and Charges to the
Elected and Appointed Officers. They are the pillars of our Lodge, and
the cement of our institution. Thank you both.
Dinner was catered by Jean’s Caterers, and was wonderful. The flowers
were made in Chelsea by our local florist Frank and Val Kowalski, and I
would like to thank them both for assisting in making a successful
night.
I thank the Officers and Brethren of Star of Bethlehem Lodge for making
my first meeting as Master of the Lodge a successful one.
I would like to thank the Brethren Officers for their work in the Lodge
while performing the First Degree for Bro Anthony P. Nuzzo, Jr. this
past Wednesday. Then, as per the Special Communication for Friday
September 17, we gathered again to confer the First Degree on Brothers
Peter deMont, Sean Toomey, and Craig Foland. Once again, the Officers
performed an outstanding job in the de-gree work. Welcome Brethren, and
I trust your journey will be a wonderful experience.
There are many changes afoot, and one of the major ones is the upgrade
to our website. Please visit it often, as we will be posting many
items. Look for the Installation pictures under the Photo’s section.
Included in this communication is a “Calendar of Events” which I hope
you will refer to frequently as we progress during this Masonic Year.
Please note that this month we will be receiving the District Deputy
Grand Master RW Richard Maggio and his
distinguished suite of Master Masons on his Offi-cial Visit to our
Lodge. I encourage your participation and support of the Lodge,
and we will make this meeting as interesting as we possibly can.
See you all on
Lodge night !
Fraternally,
Worshipful
Sergio M. Jaramillo
